This week marked the first release of ancestry results. Over 700 of the study's first participants can now begin to interpret their ancestry data!
Today we've also posted an instructional video to help understand and interpret these ancestry results. Check it out:
Moving forward: Ancestry results will continue to appear for study participants in batches of several hundred at a time. We have over 2500 participants in the study that have submitted spit kits at this point, and samples are more or less processed in the order we've received them, so if you haven't yet seen your results there may have just been several participants ahead of you in the queue. Our processing pipeline is catching up fast, though, so if you've submitted a spit kit you will see your results in the near future!
